My Approach

I believe that lasting change begins with reconnecting to your body.

So often, we live in our minds—thinking, doing, and pushing through—while our bodies quietly hold stress, emotions, and tension.

In my 1:1 journeys for women, I offer a gentle space where you can slow down, listen, and reconnect with yourself. Through simple, mindful movement, relaxation, body awareness, breath, and other body-centred practices, you'll gradually become more aware of what your body is holding and learn how to release what no longer serves you.

There is no fixed method or one-size-fits-all approach. Every session is guided by what you need in that moment, creating space for more ease, softness, presence, and self-connection.

Many women leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more at home in their bodies—not because something was "fixed," but because they allowed themselves the time and space to truly listen.

Alongside my 1:1 journeys for women, I also offer workshops and classes, mainly in Germany, where movement, relaxation, and self-expression come together in a supportive and welcoming environment.

My journey

For years, I lived the life I thought I was supposed to live.

I had my dream job, yet I often found myself crying on the way to work. On the outside, everything seemed fine. On the inside, I felt disconnected, exhausted, and somehow as if I was carrying a weight that no one else could see.

At one point, I was given labels by doctors and psychologists. While I appreciated their support, something inside me kept whispering:

"This can't be the whole story."

So I kept searching.

I was tired of feeling heavy in my own body. Tired of saying "I don't mind" whenever someone asked what I wanted. Tired of pushing through each day only to realise, late at night, how completely drained I was. It often felt as though there was an invisible wall between me and the people around me.

Everything began to change when I discovered movement, meditation, and body-centred practices and found people who could really show me what was standing in the way.

For the first time, I started listening to my body instead of trying to control it. I noticed when I was holding my breath, when my shoulders tightened, and when something didn't truly feel right..

Through movement and expression, I slowly gave space to feelings I had been carrying for years.

Little by little, life became lighter.

I became less dependent on what others thought of me. I found it easier to make decisions, to set healthy boundaries, and to express what I truly felt. I learned to navigate my emotions instead of getting stuck in endless circles of overthinking.

Most importantly, I stopped seeing my body as something that held me back and began experiencing it as my greatest source of wisdom.

That is why I do this work today.

Not because I believe anyone needs to be fixed, but because I know how life-changing it is to reconnect with yourself.

My wish is to offer women the kind of space I once needed—a place where you can slow down, breathe, move, feel, and discover that the answers you've been searching for may already be within you.

Training & Experience

My path has been shaped by a deep curiosity about the connection between body, mind, and wellbeing.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Postgraduate degree in Movement Expression from the Dance Academy in the Netherlands.

I have been meditating for 20 years now, and worked alot with movement meditations.

Over the years, I have continued to deepen my knowledge through a variety of trainings and practices. I am a certified Hatha and Yin Yoga teacher, a Clinical Somatics practitioner in the tradition of Thomas Hanna, and a Biodanza facilitator. In addition, I have completed numerous trainings in bodywork, conscious movement, massage, meditation, and relaxation.

For 7 years, I studied Tai Chi under the guidance of a Chinese master, and meditation has been a daily practice in my life for many years.

For more than 15 years, I have guided groups through movement, meditation and embodiment. In recent years, I have expanded my work to include 1:1 body-centred guidance, supporting women in reconnecting with themselves through movement, relaxation, and embodied awareness.

Above all, I continue to learn. Every person I meet, every training I follow, and every life experience deepens the way I hold space for others.
